In 1999, BMW facelifted their successful Z3 roadster range (which was first introduced late in 1995). The main changes were at the rear end, which gained a more muscular look to it and a new set of rear lights. (Hence it was more of an "arse-lift" rather than a facelift!!!) The range included a 1.8 litre four, a 2.0 litre six, a 2.8 litre six (which this model represents) and the range topping 3.2 litre M-Roadster, which has the same engine as the E36 M3.
UT made this model along with most variations of the Z3. It was the nicest Z3 they made and was improved over earlier versions by having an opening boot lid, more realistic front lights and a more detailed interior. The colour is pretty wild too!
A nice model, priced at the upper end of the budget market. UT stopped making models back in 2000, but I think this Z3 may still be available from BMW dealers as part of the range of BMW "Exclusive" models. AUTOarts parent company owns the rights to UT so I believe they still make this model for BMW.
