Lamborghini Diablo VT Coupe by AUTOart

The VT badge on this Diablo signifies that it is the 4 wheel drive (4WD) version of the Lamborghini supercar. The VT version was introduced a short while after the standard rear wheel drive Diablo (in the early 1990s) and was intended to offer better traction and grip than the regular car by having all 4 wheels driven. A slight disadvantage of this layout however is increased weight compared to the RWD Diablo due to the fact that it has a pair of extra driveshafts plus a central propshaft supplying drive to the front wheels.

Otherwise the car is much the same as the RWD Diablo, with the same 5.7 litre V12 producing 492bhp, and the same dramatic styling.

AUTOart make this model of the Diablo VT coupe and it is to date (Jan 2006) one of the best 1:18ths of the Diablo available. I'm not sure how available it is at present as it was first released around 1999-2000, but it is worth getting for fans of exotic cars and Lamborghinis.
