Peugeot 206 WRC 2001 by AUTOart

The Peugeot 206 WRC has been the car to beat in the World Rally Championships since 2000, when Marcus Gronholm won his first drivers championship for the team. Apart from Richard Burns drivers championship in 2001 (in a Subaru) Peugeot drivers have won pretty much every thing to date (end 2003). Like all WRC cars, the 206 has a turbocharged 2 litre four cylinder engine, and an advanced four wheel drive system, and is incredibly quick!

AUTOart are the second company to release a Peugeot 206 WRC (the first being Solido) and it is easily the better model than the earlier 206 WRC by Solido (which is not a bad model at all, especially at it's low price). AUTOart have outdone themselves with this new release. It looks superb and has a wealth of detail including my particular favourite, real metal disc brakes!

The bottom line is that this model is a "must have" for any rally car fans. 9/10 marks overall.
