This incredible car was raced in the GT2 Class at LeMans in 1998. Entered by a French team, a French comic strip provided sponsorship, hence the amazing and unique paintwork. The comic strip itself is a bit saucy, hence the proliferation of nude women and big cleavages all over the car!
The car did not win the GT2 class, the honours instead going to the Oreca Team Dodge Viper No.53 (which I also have in my collection, modelled by AUTOart). It finished the race in 20th position overall.
UT make this model, and it is well made, but the engine is a bit bland. The sponsorship logos are decals, which are a bit wrinkled in a few places, but as they are large decals covering a large irregular area, perfection would be hard to achieve! This is definitely one of the most colourful models in my collection.
